We paint Issaquah

In 2000, Issaquah, WA’s population was at 11,212. Since then, Forbes.com has ranked Issaquah as the 2nd fast-growing suburb in Washington, and the 89th in the United States. Based on its per capita income, Issaquah ranks 25th out of 522 areas in Washington. Issaquah was settled in 1892. It started out as a mining town, but grew to include lumber. Issaquah was also settled by Native Americans. Its name means “sound of birds.” Because the pioneers were amazed by all the wetland birds in Issaquah, they started calling it “Squak Valley.” When new settlers arrived and asked for the name of the place, the Native Americans told them “Is Squak.”
Issaquah is located at the south end of Lake Sammamish and is surrounded by Tiger Mountain, Squak Mountain, and Cougar Mountain. Seattle is 17 miles west.
If you want to preserve your Issaquah home’s history but give it a modern makeover, look no further than Shearer Painting. We have the experience, tools, and knowledge to create your dream home.
